Travel to BSG week-long events in the Fletcher Hotel, Nieuwegein

Car

The venue is situated directly next to the A2, one of the bigger highways in the Netherlands. Set your navigation to "Buizerdlaan 10, Nieuwegein" and youd'be good to go.

Parking

If you're a hotel guest, parking is free. Otherwise parking is free for 1.5 hours, afterwards €1 per hour, to a max of €5 per day.

Public Transit.

To Utrecht Centraal

If you're coming from any NS station or airport schiphol, use the routeplanner of NS and go to station Utrecht Centraal. Plan your route here. There generally is a direct connection between Utrecht and Schiphol.

If you need to use different carriers to get to Utrecht centraal, like having to traveling with a bus/tram from different airports, plan your route with 9292.

To the hotel:

From Utrecht Centraal, go to the bus platform C5, situated which is next to track 21. See the platform map here. From here take bus 74 to "Vianen" to and take the stop "Poort van Nieuwegein, Nieuwegein". This trip takes about 30 minutes. You'll be standing straight in front of the venue! Generally there's a bus going every 30 minutes, but this stops around midnight.

Alternatively take Sneltram 21 (IJsselstein) or 20 (Nieuwegein-Zuid) to Nieuwegein City, which brings you to the city center. These depart from platform H, left of the image in the brochure above. Afterwards you could either take a 10 minute walk to the hotel, or take bus 74 (vianen) or 31 (IJsselstein) 1 stop further to the hotel.

Payment:

Both NS and U-OV (bus) supports OVPay, which means you can pay for the bus and train with generally all Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and Vpay cards. Just hold your payment card or phone against the check-in poles when starting your trip with 1 carrier, and again to say you're done. This needs to be repeated for every carrier. (Only sidepoint; If you need 2 different trains, but both are from NS, you don't need to check out/in).
